To find the solution of this you will need to solve the inequality.  You will first combine the y's on the left to get -1y-6<24-7y.  Then add 6 to both side to undo the subtracting 6. This gives you -1y<30 - 7y.  From there you will add -7y to both sides to undo subtracting of 7y on right.  This gives you 6y<30.  Find the solutions for y by dividing both sides by 6 to get y<5.  This means that any numbers less than 5 are correct.  Choose the number line that shows this.
