4x+y=0 so y = -4x
substitute y = - 4x into 8x−2y=6
8x−2y=6
8x - 2(-4x) = 6
8x + 8x = 6
16x = 6
x = 3/8

y = -4(3/8) = - 3/2

answer
(3/8 , -3/2)
