I believe the answer is: c. Eating preferences across cultures are the same.

Eating preferences is heavily affected by things such as religion, resources availity, and general knowledge. For example, in united states beef may be regarded as one of the most popular choice of meat. In India on the other hands, it is very unlikely that you see public restaurants serving beef since its regarded as a sacred animal in their culture.
