I believe transcription occur over and over again to enable the cell to adjust to the changing demands. Transcription is the process that converts a DNA message into an intermediate molecule called RNA. the process takes place in the nucleus of a cell where DNA molecule acts as a primer, and RNA polymerase the enzyme that catalyze the formation of mRNA.
