Secondly, he should have 6 to 8 servings of grains per day. Ideally, he should only consume whole grains as these do not spike insulin levels as refined grains do.

Third, he should consume 4 or 5 vegetables or fruits per day, in order to get all the essential vitamins and minerals.

He should also avoid fried foods, and only consumme lean meat, poultry and fish.
