10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 39

Formula:

Mean: (add up all the numbers and divide the numbers of the data set)

Range: (Just subtract the Highest number in the number list with the Lowest number in the number list)

Mean: 10 + 15 + 16 + 17 + 18 + 22 + 23 + 39 = 160/8 = 20

Range: 39 - 10 = 29

the answer is B. to work out the mean you add the numbers up and divide by the number of numbers there are. range take away the biggest number from the smallest
