Prejudice is an attitude or prejudgment.
Prejudice refers to preconceived notions and beliefs about individuals belonging to certain racial, gender or social groups. These beliefs about individuals are usually negative and they are not necessarily true. Examples of prejudices are: "Black men are aggressive", "Women are weak", or "Boys are better than girls at mathematics".
