Your practice partner just ordered an exercise echocardiography 2de for a patient with suspected cardiovascular risk. this patient has known resting wall motion abnormalities. why would this not be the best test to assess this patient's cardiac risk?

I think this would not be the best test to assess this patient's cardiac risk because sensitivity is decreased. Echocardiography test uses sound waves to create pictures of the heart. The test does not have side effect due to  the fact that it uses sound but since the patient has resting wall motion abnomaities, it will affect the sensitivity.
