I believe the first choice is correct since you can prove through vertical angles and substitution that angles B and 3 are congruent, and that angles 3 and 2 are supplementary. Through this information, you know all about segment AB and DB is along the same transversal and knowing that angles 2 and 3 add to 180 and that 2 and angle D have to add to 180 as well, you know that angles D and B are congruent which helps.
