The civil right law are governments laws that make in order to protect the right of minorities from discrimination. The civil right of 1964 in united state outlaws discrimination based on race, religion,sex or national origins. It also prohibited unequal application of voters registration,racial segregation in schools,employment and public accommodation.

I believe the answer is civil rights Laws.
Civil Rights law banned different treatment for individuals based on their race, sex, origin, and religion.
The law was initially made to make sure that minorities obtained equal treatment in the workforce following the Racial Segregation that created by jim Crow's law.
