We have to find the sum of (7x-6y) and (x+y)

(7x-6y) and (x+y) are two Algebraic expressions

Sum of two algebraic expressions is also a algebraic expression

So, (7x - 6y) + (x+y) = 7x - 6y + x + y

= 7x + x + y - 6y

= x (7 + 1) + y - 6y

= 8x + y - 6y

= 8x + y ( 1 - 6 )

= 8x + y ( -5 )

= 8x - 5y

Hope this helps..!!

Thank you :)
