When you go to a country where culture and traditions are different, is it up to people or tourists to adapt? Why?

Definitely the tourists; the tourist is intruding upon the PEOPLE's home; they shouldn't have to accommodate a stranger and adapt to their needs

It would be up to the tourist who are visiting the country to adapted to the country. The citizens of the country already are adapted to their traditions, culture or even language. It would be harder for them to adapt to a tourists needs, because they would have to learn the needs of every single tourist. While as a tourist, you would only need to adjust to that one certain culture, tradition or language.
