if the patients take diabetes medication without eating she most probably develop hypoglycemia hence she needs to monitor her glucose levels. The nurse should encourage her to take small frequent meals even if she doesn't feel like eating and educate the client on the importance of diet in the management of DM.
The patients should also be encouraged to seek medical help if she is feeling sick to check on the underlying issue.
