Hey there! :D
7(y+2)= (81÷9)+ (8y-2)
Distribute the 7.
7y+14= (81÷9) + 8y-2
7y+14= 9+8y-2
7y+14= 8y+7
Subtract 7 on both sides.
7y+7= 8y
Subtract 7y on both sides.
7=y
"A" is the correct answer.
