30 divided by one half plus 10 can be written as 30 ÷ 1/2 + 10. The order of operation (GEMDAS) informs us that we simplify the division first. 30 ÷ 1/2 is the same as 30 times 2. That gives us 60. Then, we add 10 to get 70.
