Answer is B) false.

According to 10 % law of energy transfer, when a predator such as hawk eats its prey such as snake in a grassland ecosystem , only 10 % of the available energy of the prey (snake) is transferred into the biomass of the predator (hawk). Most of the remaining energy is lost as heat to the environment.
