I need help!! Can some one explain how to do it? My teacher explanation was hard to understand. Mr. Majors ordered six hot dogs and a bucket of popcorn at the concession stand. If the popcorn was $3.20, and the total was $18.20, what was the price of one hot dog?

Each hot dog is 2.50

The popcorn is 3.20 so you subtract that from the total you’ve spent which is 15
Then you divide 15 by six
