Why are fewer immigrants becoming citizens

Most people believe that immigrants (mainly Mexican immigrants) are gang members, and are shooting and killing people. President Trump is trying to persuade everyone that the Mexicans are bad people; when he isn't giving the other immigrants a chance. Some may just want to start a new life but they don't have a chance. They have to pay what's called a USCIS fee to become a citizen. They may not be able to afford it.
