Revisionists or conflict perspective historians believe history should be told from the side of the "little guy". The goal of revisionist history is to present a side of history that is often forgotten or overlooked in particular in historical textbooks. History under revisionist ideology will be written from the perspective of the poor, minority races and ethnicities, or women for example. Howard Zinn's, A People's History of the United States is a famous example of this type of writing.
