A certain lottery has 34 numbers. in how many different ways can 4 of the numbers be selected? (assume that order of selection is not important.)

we know that
C=n!/[(n-r)!*r!]
n=34
r=4
then
C=34!/[(34-4)!*4!]=34*33*32*31/[4*3*2*1]=46376

the answer is 46376
