38. Division by 1/3 is the same as multiplication by 3.


`(5)/(6) * 3 = 5 * (3)/(6) = 5 * (1)/(2) = (5)/(2)`


`(1)/(2) * 3 = (3)/(2)`


`(1)/(9) * 3 = (3)/(9) = (1)/(3)`


40. Division by 1/2 is the same as multiplication by 2.


`x * 2 = (6)/(8)`

`x = (6)/(8) * (1)/(2) = (3)/(8)`


`3 * 2 = 6`


`x * 2 = 5`

`x = (5)/(2)`
