Which is the most accurate characterization of Mayella Ewell during her cross-examination? She misinterprets courtesy as mockery. She is protective of her father. She is traumatized by the r*pe. She tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

"She misinterprets the courtesy as mockery."

It is this answer because when Atticus Finch calls her "ma'am, ect.", she feels as if she is being mocked.

She is not being protective of her father, as she fears that Bob may beat her again, as she is the victim of abuse caused by her father.

She is not traumatized by r*pe because she was never r*ped in the first place, as she used Tom Robinson as a scapegoat, instead of coming forth and saying that the bruises and physical abuse evidence was her father.

And she doesn't tell the truth whatsoever. As she insists that Tom Robinson did everything.
