The answer is; D

The kidneys achieve water homeostasis through a hormone called ADH (antidiuretic hormone)/vasopresin released by the pituitary glands. ADH promotes reabsorption of water by the kidney‘s nephron tubules when the body begins to be dehydrated. When there is excess water in the body, less ADH is produced and less water is reabsorbed hence passed out in urine.
