Y - 5 = 0.5x2 + 6x - 3--------------- > y=0.5x2 + 6x -3+5=0.5x2 + 6x+2
y=0.5x2 + 6x +2

using a graphic tool

the graph have two x-intercepts----------> (-11.657,0) and (0.343,0)
