The allies pursued a Europe first strategy as they considered that Germany to be their most dangerous enemy and they bluffed with the fake army that they would attack Germany at Calais. The aim of this strategy is to finish defeating the Germany and its allies and then moving the focus to Pacific to fight Japan.
