A rectangular field has a length of 105 feet and a width of 60 feet. On a map of the field, the width was drawn as 4 inches. What measurements should represent the length?

Compare by writing:

(105)/(60) = (x)/(4)

You can get 60 to 4 by dividing by 15, so you need to do the same with 105. 105/15 is 7.
