Blitzkrieg is a warfare method from world war 2 which related to rapid conquering of land by clustering tanks and airplanes in close formations and just bombarding and destroying everything in your path in order to conquer it. This makes it hard for defenders because they are usually caught of guard and are easily separated from the rest of the forces.
