I need help with a opening statement. Explaining briefly what GMOs are and why they are bad for human livestock. Just a few sentences like three. IN YOUR OWN WORDS

GMO stands for genetically modified organism. The organism is usually modified by physically moving genes that express the desired trait to a new plant in order to enhance the trait in that plant. A more traditional method is selective breeding where you only breed the plants that express the desired trait. There is currently no evidence that GMOs are bad for humans or livestock.
