There's no need to graph. If the slopes are the same value, then the lines are parallel. If the two slopes multiply to -1, then the lines are perpendicular.

A special case is if you have a slope of a 0 and an undefined slope, then the lines are perpendicular (as a horizontal and vertical line are always perpendicular).
