JK would NOT be perpendicular to EF they would be parallel, perpendicular means that they would intersect and have all 90 degree angles, intersecting means anything that crosses through a line is intersecting (with the exception of perpendicular lines) and parallel as you can tell means that they run in the same direction but don't cross paths
