The answer could be any of the books that describe the stablishment and ruling of Israel's people in Canaan, during an 800 years period from 1400 to 600 b.C. These books are from the ancient testament and are called:

Joshua, Judges, Ruth, Samuel, Kings, Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther.
