This patient has a nature of incident of a vehicular accident sustaining a femur shaft fracture. The patient immediately underwent debridement and eventual surgery. The corresponding CPT code for fracture and/or dislocation procedures on the femur and the knee joint is CPT 27506. The ICD code for an open fracture of shaft of femur is ICD 821.11. Lastly, the CPT code for for debridement procedures on skin is CPT 11012.
