I'm between A or D Help!

In this excerpt from The Way to Rainy Mountain, the author uses language that depicts the sun as a human.

He was very angry…he threw the ring and it did what he told it to do; it struck the woman and killed her, and then the sun’s child was all alone.

What is the effect of this language?

It supports the idea that the information is factual.

It contributes to a mood that lacks any emotion.

It develops the sense that the story is more legend than fact.

It reveals a tone of admiration on the part of the author.
