The ribosomal RNA is especially useful for the study of phylogenetic relationships because ribosomal RNA are highly conserved.

It is very less that is why it is easy to compare. Ribosomal ribonucleic acid is the RNA component of ribosome which is essential for protein synthesis to all living organisms.

rRNA is widely used for the purpose of working out evolutionary relationships which are among organisms.
