When you multiply a function by -1 what is the effect on its graph? apex

The graph flips over the x- axis is the best answer. When you multiply a function by -1, you actually multiply both sides of the equation by- 1, . Doing so will give you the same line. If the equation has an intercept, the line will flip over the horizontal line at the intercept
