The telephone company purchased 95 yards of wire for $1,235 in September. They plan on making a purchase of 285 yards in October. How much will the same wire cost them?

simple math $1,235/ 95yd= $13 per yard

285 x $13= $3,705

The answer is $3,705, hope this helps.

It will cost them $3705 because 285/95= 3 and so 3*1235 is $3705
