Penelope is Odysseus' faithful and loving wife. Her husband was gone for twenty years and even with many suitors wanting to court her, she stayed faithful to her husband! They had a son named Telemachus who was a mere baby when Odysseus left, so she raised him all alone for twenty years as a faithful, gentle wife. :)
