In quadrilateral ABCD, the ratio of the measures of the angles is 3:4:5:8. Find the measure of the smallest angle.

answer: 54.

3x + 4x + 5x + 8x = 360 as the sum of the four angles in a quadrilateral equals to 360. when we solve for x , we get x as 18. since 3x is the smallest angle out of the four,
3x18=54 is the smallest angle.
