"In His Steps" is a novel written by Charles Monroe Sheldon includes the character of Jasper Chase who is in love with Rachel and propose marriage to her but she refuses, he can be described as moody and weak, he is the only exception in the book, he do not takes the pledge, he decides to write novel with the aim of selling as much as possible, with this we can deduce that he is bitter and introverted.
