The Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery therefor making a huge difference in the economy, and life's of those farming.


The Thirteenth amendment allowed for African American people to gain more rights within the united states, which allowed them to later gain their right to vote. Their fighting for their rights changed the way we live today, and allowed everyone to gain equality.
