The slope of a line can be calculated as follows:

(y_(1)-y_(2) )/(x_(1)-x_(2))

Plug in any two pairs of coordinates from the table, for instance:

(14-(-2) )/(10-2)

This simplifies to 2, therefore, the slope of the line is 2.
