I believe the biggest Challenge that United faced in 1901 was the Immigration Crisis.
At that time, many immigrants from various countries flooded into the country.
This creates several problems, such as:
- It took a lot of job opportunities from local citizens at that time, which resulted in high number of unemployment
- Clashes and violence often happened between groups of people with different culture.
- It lead to the rise of Underground criminal organizations in united states.
