Solution:

we have been asked to graph
f(x)=2^x+1 and
g(x)=-x+7 on the same coordinate plane.

Then we have been asked to find the solution to the equation
f(x)=g(x)?

So we will plot the graph and look for their point of intersection, the x-coordinate of the point of intersection will give the value of x.

So from the graph its clear that the point of intersection is (2,5)

Hence the value of x=2
