The correct answer is A) American voters elected new Presidential leadership.

After years of massive unemployment during the Great Depression, American voters elected new Presidential leadership.

The end of the great depression ended when newly elected President Franklin D. Roosevelt promised to start new federal government programs he called “New Deal.” Among the programs that were part of the New Deal, there was the Civil Works Administration or CWA, that was created in 1933 that aimed to create jobs for the unemployed; the Public Work Administration of PWA, that provided jobs and economic stimulus; or the Social Security Act or SSA, that aided the disabled and helped the poor.
