Using the sine ratio, we get
Sin L = opposite/ Hypotenuse
sin L= 8/8√2
Simplify
Sin L = 1/√2

Now cos L = Adjacent/ Hypotenuse
cos L = 8 / 8√2
Simplofy
Cos L = 1/√2

Both ratios have the same result.
Answer: Sin L = Cos L

Since the right triangle is isoceles, both acute angles are 45°.
.. sin(45°) = cos(45°)

The correct relation is "=".
