The measures of two complementary angles are in the ratio 2:3. What is the measure of the smaller angle?

Ratio = 2:3
Let smaller angle be 2x
Let bigger angle be 3x
Sum of two complementary angles = 90
2x + 3x = 90
5x = 90
x = 90/5 = 18
Smaller angle = 2x= 2*18 = 36
