The equation describes a linear relationship between x and y. It can be graphed as a straight line. There is nothing to solve until you assign a value to one of the variables, or require they satisfy some additional constraint.

If you want to express it as "y =", then divide by the coefficient of y.
.. y = (-6/5)x -3
.. y = -1.2x -3 . . . . . . in decimal form
