Question 1:
(3)/(8) x 100% = 37.5%

Question 2:
(3)/(6) x 100% = 50%

Question3:
37.5% ÷ 3 = 12.5%
50% ÷ 3 = 16.67%
difference = 16.67-12.5 = 4.17%
percentage change = (4.17 ÷ 12.5) x 100% = 33.36%

Solution:

Total number of members who rob the bank = 8

Share of each member, if total number of members are 6

=(100)/(8)\\\\ =12 (1)/(2)%

1. Percent of the loot which belongs to three of the robbers=

(3)/(8)* 100=(300)/(8)=37.50%

2. If two of the members are killed,

Number of members left= 8-2=6

(a). Share of three member,

(3)/(6)* 100=(300)/(6)=50%

(b). Share of each member, if total number of members are 6

=(100)/(6)\\\\ =16 (2)/(3)%

(c).% increase of share of each member=

=(50)/(3) -(25)/(2)\\\\ (25)/(6) \\\\ =4(1)/(6)%
