The British were taxing the Colonist for everything which started the phrase: “No taxation without Representation.”

The British also conducted searches and seized people’s gun for no reason which is the basis of Our Right to bear arms and the 4th Amendment on Search and Seizures.

The Colonists got fed up and fought back. The rest is history!
