First, calculate the reduction of the price
reduction = normal price - sale price
reduction = 57 - 41.6
reduction = 15.4
The price decreased £15.4

Second, change the reduction of the price into percentage
percent = reduction/normal price × 100%

percent= (15.4)/(57)*100%

percent= (15.4*100)/(57)%

percent= (1540)/(57)%
percent = 27.01%

The percentage reduction is 27.01% or approximately 27%
